Good Evening/Morning Dearies,
Today I have been working on a number of refurbishing projects including a lamp shade, my desk and a small table. Since my brother moved out a couple weeks ago, leaving it to be just my mother and i in the house, we split up the rooms so that we were both able to have an extra room; mine for a Library/Art studio, and hers for a Quilting room.
Anyways, some things really needed a change. So I decided everything needed a new paint job. I am working with these 5 colors, to create a gypsy wagon type effect.
I had this lovely little wall lamp, but once upon a time I put a light bulb in that was a little too large and singed the shade.
And so I turned it into this...
Here are a few progress shots
My second project was my desk, that seemed to take forever, I don't have a before shot, but it used to be a plain pale yellow desk, a few days ago I painted it a Teal color. Today I painted the flower designs.
And the final project,

was a brown table, that i turned into this...
And then after all that I baked cookies for the guys at Football tomorrow.
And now I am pooped and ready for bed. It's a busy day tomorrow and this chick needs her beauty rest.
