MicSmitty makes renaissance faire shoes

Good Evening Readers, MicSmitty here. I had a bit of an adventure tonight, and made myself a pair of Renaissance shoes. Using this wonderful tutorial I found on Pintrest - Link to Tutorial

They are super comfortable and I love them. you might be able to notice that I used two different kind of strings to tie them up, that's only cause I ran out of leather threading. Hopefully Ill get to wear them out soon.

MicSmitty makes an Introduction

Good Evening Reader, 

    My name is Michelle, the MicSmitty of this here Blog. I will admit that I have started a few blogs before but I have a tendency to forget about them. This time I am working this blog with my Best Friend Mim, so hopefully that will keep me on track.

    So here's a couple things about me to feed your interest.

I am an amateur photographer, artist, crafter, writer, among many other things.

I can be a bit of a nerd, I love renaissance fairs, Comic Con and everything that has anything to do with them. I made a Satyr costume for the faire this year seen to the right.   -----------------------------> 

(I am still making improvements though)

    I love all animals, but I have a soft spot for Cats, and always have at least one kitten around, people like to drop them off at my house. I have raised quite a few with eye droppers and quite a bit of patience. :) I have one curled up on my lap as I type this. 

Anyways that's a little bit about me to get us all started.
